I can't believe how fast time goes by these days. Just yesterday I've spent a lovely day at the same spot where
Hard-Boiled Wonderland was taken a year ago. Technically it's not the best shot I ever made but it still means a lot to me and brings back some fond memories. Of course its title stems from a novel by Haruki Murakami which is in fact one of my favorite books. The funny thing is that I never finished it. I liked it so much that I couldn't read the last few chapters because then there'd be nothing left of it. I Want to save that for a special occasion, whenever, wherever that might be.
the more things change...
My life is back on tracks and things are going fine lately. Hopefully that will evolve into me spending some quality time with my camera. How could I not, given the beautiful fall this year. I've also made a stylistic decision that is a rather drastic change from my previous deviations. In the future I'm going to upload my pictures without frames or text. I'm confident that by now my photographs can speak for themselves, convey all the emotions and imaginations that I used to force upon viewers by putting a title right in their faces. I'm curious how that'll work out.

"There is no wind, no birds, no movement in the town. I hear nothing but the crunching of snow under my feet."
